The area we live in is very special, one of the most scenic and extraordinary places in all the world. It is most important that persons seeking positions of public responsibility should constantly keep this in mind and try to see that some of the beauty and wonder which we have known should remain for posterity. Important and difficult decisions which will affect the entire Peninsula, as well as local users, must be made by District Directors.
A graduate of local schools and Stanford I have also studied at the Universities of Zurich, Heidelberg and the Sorbonne.
Twice elected Mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea I have also served on many Boards and Commissions as well as serving numerous years on the Carmel Area Wastewater District.
