Overview

The Project would upgrade sewerage conveyance facilities along Pescadero Rd by installing a new pipeline in the street to convey sewage from the upper Carmel Woods area, and by rehabilitation (slip-lining) of the existing sewer downslope of houses along Pescadero Rd. By constructing the new sewer in Pescadero Rd to convey upstream flows, the slip-lined portion of pipe would only handle sewage from about 20 houses along Pescadero.

The project would not require any homeowners to install ejector pumps. 

The project is at the begining of the design stage. Prior to commencing detailed design CAWD will be reaching out to residents to explain the proposed work and request feedback.
